Pricing Policy & Registration Fees:
Your application is only considered complete when all the information required is received and the correct fee is paid in accordance with Songrite's terms.
We issue three types of registration certificate: the CR3a, CR3m and the CR3X.
Submitted works are kept in the order received; client work files are created and assigned numbers whereupon they are forwarded to the Copyright Registration Department. Your work is then assigned a registration number. Each client is allocated their own individual folder and all works by that client are collectively held in that folder. All the information provided by the applicant is then added to our database; finally an English Copyright certificate is then issued and mailed to the client.
Registration Fees / Prices:
You must pay the prescribed fee when submitting your work by post for registration of copyright (unless you prefer to use PayPal please click this link PayPal). That fee covers the review of your submission and, if it is acceptable, a registration certificate will be issued. If your submission has been found in need and or violates our terms and conditions, a statement outlining the facts will be sent to you. A response to this report will be required within 60 days from the date of the letter; otherwise the application will be abandoned without possibility of a refund.
Payment may be made online using PayPal or by post using (01) International Money Order, or a (02) a personal check. All money orders and checks should be made payable to the "Songrite Copyright Office".
Payments must be in one of the approved currencies that are acceptable to Songrite. It is also possible to submit an application through electronic commerce, that is “direct online”. The information is available on the Online Submissions page. Once you register your copyrights, you do not have to pay any additional fees to maintain them.

A summary of the CR3a, CR3m and the CR3X Copyright certificates
The CR3a Certificate:
This certificate is for registering one single song or one set of lyrics only.
Each CR3a certificate is date stamped, numbered and recorded onto our copyright registration database. This certificate is ideal for registering a single song or composition which is named on the certificate along with the authors details.
The CR3m Certificate:
This certificate is for registering two or three songs or sets of lyrics.
Each CR3m certificate is date stamped, numbered and recorded onto our copyright registration database. This certificate is ideal for registering two or three songs or compositions which are named on the certificate along with the authors details
The CR3X Certificate:
This certificate is for registering from 4 to a whole album of 14 songs or sets of lyrics. The album title and a full list of all tracks are included on this certificate as well as the author/s. details
Each CR3X certificate is date stamped, numbered and recorded onto our copyright registration database. This certificate is ideal for registering the copyright ownership of a whole album from three to fourteen tracks / songs. Maximum tracks allowed per certificate is 14

You can pay by cheque or International money order, or use PayPal to make your payment. To open a PayPal account is free, you can then use all major credit cards. If paying by cheque or money order, please make it payable to Songrite© remembering to write the title of your work on the back
Important
If using Paypal do not make your payment until we contact you to confirm we have received your uploaded your work in its entirety or the hard copy of your work if using our postal service. (Hard copy = CD, Tape, Cassette, Manuscript, etc.)
